The government and industry such as the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST, used to be National Science Council) and the Ministry of Education (MoE) or high-tech companies provide founding for university by years. In order to get financial support for pursuing research, our faculty annually applies for research grant to obtain more fruitful research results as well as to train the graduate students to become high-tech talents. 

Through industry-university cooperation projects, our faculty and industry can establish a good relation. Hence, the expertise and research outcome of teachers can actually be implemented for the industry insider use. Therefore, not only the research and development capabilities, innovative technology of industry can be enhanced, but also can open up more the research topics for our faculty.
